BTHs bibliotek är samlingen av information och resurser kombinerat med hjälpsam, omtänksam och samarbetsvillig personal. Biblioteksmiljön är väldigt bra och trivsam.
Mitt förslag är att antalet bokexemplar ökas, både vad gäller kurs- och forskningslitteratur, för att tillgodose fler studenter. De tryckta böckerna borde vara fler än e-böckerna.
BTH library is the collection of information, sources, resources and services with helpful, caring and cooperative staff. The environment of the library is very good and comfortable.
My suggestion is the number of copies of books should be increased to facilitate more students with good books on research and related courses. The hard copies of books should be more than e-books.

Böcker är som trogna följeslagare, och BTH förser studenterna med dessa följeslagare. Personalen är omtänksam och hjälpsam. Antalet exemplar av böckerna borde ökas. Mitt förslag är att erbjuda papperskopior av böcker, det är bättre än e-böcker.
Books are like loyal friends, and BTH equip the students with these friends. The staff is caring and helpful. But the copies of books should be increased. My suggestion is to offer hard copies of books, that is better than e-books.

Biblioteket är väldigt bra med hjälpsam personal. Det finns för få exemplar av böckerna dock. Eftersom det oftast finns bara ett eller två exemplar blir det långa köer och när det är din tur är kursen redan slut. E-böcker är lämpligare, och det är ok att läsa vid datorn.
The library is very good with cooperative staff. There is a shortage of books though. With only one or two copies there is often a long queue and when it´s your turn the course is finished. E-books are more convenient and it´s ok to read by the PC.

Biblioteken är bra och trevliga, fast jag besöker dem inte så ofta eftersom i princip all information jag behöver i mitt arbete som doktorand finns tillgänglig via bibliotekets onlinedatabaser. Min favorit är ELIN där man söker i flera databaser samtidigt, men det finns fler söktjänster och databaser som är användbara.
Dessutom är personalen trevlig och hjälper till om man behöver hjälp till exempel med att beställa artiklar eller fjärrlåna böcker som inte finns tillgängliga direkt via biblioteket.
The physical libraries are pleasant, but I do not visit them very often. Instead I use the online databases to find essentially all information that I need in my work as a Ph D student. My personal favorite is ELIN which gives access to multiple databases, but there are additional services that are useful.
Further, I appreciate that the library staff i nice and helpful when it comes to ordering articles and books that is not available directly via the library.

Biblioteksservicen, på plats i biblioteket och genom hemsidan genom bibliotekarierna, är enorm.
Jag uppskattar verkligen möjligheten att nå forskningsdatabaser som ACM och IEEE gratis. Det är ett stort framsteg inom högre utbildning. Det är också förnämligt att vi kan låna böcker utan att någon bibliotekarie är närvarande. Men det finns en del att göra vad gäller bokinköp: att köpa fler exemplar av de mest efterfrågade böckerna eller åtminstone erbjuda elektroniska versioner av samma titlar.
På det hela taget vill jag uttrycka det de flesta studenter känner och säga ett stort TACK för det betydelsefulla bidrag biblioteket utgör för våra studier.
The work done in the library itself and through the website by the librarians, is enormous.
I really appreciate the opportunity to have access to research sites, such as ACM, IEEE for free. That is a great improvement when it comes to higher education. The facilities that enable us to borrow the books independently of the presence of the librarians is a good thing. But there is also some work to be done when it comes to buying more of the books that are frequently asked for by many students, or at least restore the electronical version of those ones.
In general, I would like to express to all of you, the gratitude that most of the students feel and THANK you for the great contribution to our education.
